I loved initially delving into Gatsby's 1920's world, but didn't like the characters or ending unfortunately. The Readers Reviewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13549505601891783106noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1675110925053895324.post-46317115495745390142016-05-16T11:52:01.822-07:002016-05-16T11:52:01.822-07:00Terribly sorry, I have only just seen this! Yes I definitely got very frustrated with the characters and it was hard to overlook that and appreciate it as a story of unrequited love. The Readers Reviewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13549505601891783106noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1675110925053895324.post-57839788136576331472016-05-15T15:24:22.917-07:002016-05-15T15:24:22.917-07:00I really enjoyed the beginning of it (the descript...I really enjoyed the beginning of it (the description in (I think it is this chapter), chapter 3, as he listens to Gatsby's party being set up is really good), but I didn't like the ending!Kezziehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15705356707599121605noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1675110925053895324.post-56312955336862391982016-05-08T01:15:59.917-07:002016-05-08T01:15:59.917-07:00Great review. Your right, they are tedious, and I didn't like most of the characters, but I did feel some sympathy for Gatsby. I read it as we as a reader are supposed to see them as shallows and selfish, which in the end Nick ultimately realised. Your above review is how I felt about Wuthering HeightsVanessa Mambuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03801663562685210455noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1675110925053895324.post-88996841746186488062016-05-04T10:21:16.259-07:002016-05-04T10:21:16.259-07:00Great review! As an adult I'm guessing I'd probably be yelling at the characters for how stupid they're being. Plus Daisy totally and utterly sucks. Never liked her--thought she was stupid, selfish, and unworthy of Gastby's love.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14674381002532730399noreply@blogger.com
