At long last, The Bank of England have unveiled the new £10 which features Jane Austen, and it is perfect.
Austen, who died 200 years ago on Tuesday, is the only woman, except the Queen, to feature on a current sterling note.
As well as a portrait of the great woman herself, the note also features images of Godmersham Park, her former home, and character Lizzie Bennet, from, possibly her most famous novel, Pride and Prejudice.
The quote: "I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading!" which appears underneath Austen's portrait is also from her famous 1813 novel.
The notes will be released into public circulation from 15th September 2017.
