Book inspired tea tin creators 'NovelTea Tins' launch brand new British Collection

A cup of classics, anyone? It seems like a perfectly obvious and sensible concept; a great cup of tea partnered with a great piece of literature, but it wasn't until last year that this was literally made into a realitea (sorry, I had to do it).

NovelTea Tins are a family of book and tea lovers from Berkley, in California who have a passion for puns and quality products. Johnny, Jorgen and Mitch have seen their first successes, thanks to dedicated kickstart backers, with their first tin collection 'The Picture of Earl Grey', 'War and Peace' and 'Don Quixotea'.

But watch out, because now The British Collection is coming!

The British Collection is inspired by three legendary British authors:

  • Jane Austens Pride and Peppermint
  • William Shakespeare's Matcha Do About Nothing
  • Charles Dickens' Oliver Lemon Twist

Jane Austen's tea tin is inspired by Pride and Prejudice and blue and white tea sets from the Regency era.

Charles Dickens' tin is inspired by Oliver Twist and will be decorated in a Victorian style.

Much Ado About Nothing is matched with a Matcha tea and takes inspiration from Shakespeare's Second Folio décor.

Amazing, right? Well these beautiful designs can only become a reality with your help. Over 750 backers came together last year to support the launch of the first collection. Now a pre-order Kickstarter launches tomorrow, 5th July, which is essential to make The British Collection a reality.

To be, or not to be. That question is really up to you.
